Sponsored by Curtis, Curtis & Brelinski, P.C., this family-friendly concert blends timeless holiday favorites with a wide range of musical styles, from classical to jazz, theatre, and contemporary.

About the Performers

Marcus and Tiffany first met in college and have been making music together ever since. Married for nearly 25 years, they moved to Jackson from Seattle in 2017 and now perform regularly at venues and private events throughout Michigan and beyond. Both are classically trained singers, and their unique stripped-down style brings an intimate and refreshing approach to every performance.

Marcus Shelton made his professional debut in Seattle Opera’s production of Wagner’s Ring Cycle in 2000. He went on to join Seattle Opera’s Young Artist Program and has since performed with companies such as Portland Opera, New Orleans Opera, Opéra Théâtre de Rimouski, and the Greek National Opera. He has sung in concerts across the globe, including a gala appearance alongside David Foster, Kenny G, and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. Marcus was also a longtime National Anthem singer for the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks, and made his Detroit Tigers debut in 2018.

Tiffany Shelton is a lifelong performer whose repertoire spans musical theatre, jazz, a cappella, sacred music, and major choral works such as Handel’s Messiah and Brahms’s Ein Deutsches Requiem. She has performed on stages ranging from Seattle’s Benaroya Hall to community theatres, and even spent a season with Seattle’s Dickens Carolers, performing Victorian carols in traditional garb. In 2020, she appeared as Margo Lane in The Shadow with Center Stage Jackson’s Old Time Radio Shows.
