Night Moves in Allentown A Billy Joel & Bob Seger Tribute

Saturday, November 14, 2026 - 7:00 PM EDT

On October 22, 1976, Bob Seger released his Night Moves album. A few weeks later came its first single, and by February, Bob Seger's most important album reached #4 on Billboard's Hot 100 — behind #1 Rod Stewart, #2 Andy Gibb, and #3 The Emotions. Lookin' Back, Detroit's first and Michigan's best Bob Seger tribute band, will bring that album to life — the entire album — in order — on one of Michigan's most beautiful historic stages.

Michigan Theatre of Jackson (MTJ), Allentown, Lookin' Back, and Tributesville proudly present this unique classic rock double feature. Two of Michigan's most respected tribute acts would love to share this special legendary night with YOU in Jackson — again!

Patrons, look forward to lookin' back at Night Moves with the groups 2026 singer Dave Fogerty delivering the Bob Seger lyrics. Dave is backed by the full Allentown band — aka "Dave's Silver Bullet Band" — currently one of the strongest acts on the Michigan tribute scene.

From the same album that delivered the hits like "Night Moves," "Mainstreet," and "Rock and Roll Never Forgets," also contained GREAT forgotten songs like "Ship of Fools" and "Sunburst" — brought to life like you've never heard them. Expect all the grit, soul, and passion Bob Seger's music deserves. No impersonator. No impressionist. Simplicity.

Then Dave's Silver Bullet Band transforms itself. Mark Calcott moves his keyboard and microphone front and center to start their 4th Annual Piano Man Anniversary Concert — and MTJ's second consecutive of this November tradition.

Prepare for "The Very Best of Allentown" — the band's most polished Billy Joel songs. Expect "Allentown" to "Zanzibar" to "The Ballad of Billy the Kid" to "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant." - 90 minutes.

If you were at MTJ on Billy's Birthday May 9, you know exactly what you're signing up. THANK YOU, ESPECIALLY. If you weren't — "This Is The Time" to remember.

Seger & Joel - Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame, Grammy Award's and a combined record sales of over 300,000,000 units, nearly 50 movies soundtracks, and 50 MTV videos.

Two album anniversaries to celebrate: Night Moves and Piano Man. Thank you for attending "Night Moves in Allentown" — so Rock N' Roll Never Forgets
