Co-founded in Minneapolis in 2011 by Marshall Charloff and Matt “Doctor” Fink (keyboardist from Prince & The Revolution), the Purple xPeRIeNCE set out to deliver Prince’s music at the highest level—live, untracked, and performed by true Minneapolis all-star musicians.

Now in its 16th year of touring worldwide, the band has performed for well over a million fans. In 2019, they were officially licensed by the Prince Estate, and in 2021, they were selected by the US Department of State to be featured in the USA Pavilion of the World Expo in Dubai. From headlining Red Rocks to fronting top symphonies, Marshall Charloff embodies the spirit, sound, and style of Prince with unparalleled authenticity.
